Visits at the Centre for Global Higher Education and the Society for Research into Higher Education
In March 2018 Søren S. E. Bengtsen visited the Centre for Global Higher Education, UCL, and gave an invited keynote speech at the Society for Research into Higher Education, together with Dr Kay Guccione (Sheffield University).
In March 2018, Deputy Director of CHEF, Søren S. E. Bengtsen, did a follow-up visit to the Centre for Global Higher Education (CGHE), UCL, where he met with CGHE visiting researcher Krystian Szadkowski to discuss further research collaboration.
Also, Bengtsen gave an invited keynote speech at the Society for Research into Higher Education (SRHE), together with Dr Kay Guccione (Sheffield University), based on their complementary research studies into doctoral support, supervision and relationships. In recognition that many and varied players contribute to supporting doctoral researchers along the way, they discussed the idea of the ‘Ecology’ of doctoral study.
