Education at Arts

The Faculty of Arts embraces humanistic, educational, and theological subjects.

The Faculty of Arts at Aarhus University offers a total of 94 courses, covering everything from language and culture over IT and communications to religion and education science - and is home to the country's widest range of humanistic, educational and theological education.

The students at Arts live their daily student life at the three departments in Aarhus and in Copenhagen (Campus Emdrup) - where there is focus on a continuous development of a good study environment.

In our programmes we strive to strike the right balance between solid academic core competencies and interdisciplinary competences - and encourage the students to cooperate with the surrounding communities in the region, country or world.

Arts at the crossroads

Arts cuts across traditional disciplinary boundaries to put knowledge and skills at stake - and gives students many opportunities at Aarhus University and in society.

A third of the Arts' graduates get jobs in the education sector, while the rest find employment in a wide range of sectors, including research, culture, tourism and communications.
