DARIAH-DK is the Danish branch of the DARIAH-EU - a Digital Research Infrastructure for the Arts and Humanities (DARIAH) which aims to enhance and support digitally-enabled research and teaching across the arts and humanities. DARIAH-DK is based at Aarhus University, but calls and such are open to all higher education institutions in Denmark, seeing as the membership is national.
DARIAH was established as a European Research Infrastructure Consortium (ERIC) in August 2014, and DARIAH-DK was one of the founding members. The European Research Infrastructure Consortium (ERIC) for the Arts and Humanities supports researching and teaching in E-Science. DARIAH-DK facilitates transnational communities and services for education and training (#dariahTeach, DH Course Registry), ethics and legality (ELDAH), and WGs related to the arts. DARIAH-DK liaises with collaborating institutions in the Nordic area (DARIAH Nordic Hub), particularly on education and innovation. Finally, DARIAH-DK continues to strengthen the DARIAH Nordic Hub, and the integration of the arts and the cultural creative industries in DARIAH-EU.
The Digital Humanities Course Registry is a curated platform that provides an overview of the growing range of teaching activities in the field of digital humanities worldwide.
