We are happy to announce that Magnus Bender has become part of TEXT 1 August.

Magnus holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Lübeck and has since been employed at the Institute of Humanities-Centered Artificial Intelligence at the University of Hamburg and Roskilde University.

His research focuses on the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and intelligent agent systems, particularly Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs). At TEXT, he will work on the topics „Addressing LLM-hard problems in practice“  and „LLMs in language and cognition research“. He will teach at the Department of Management.

He will split his time between TEXT and the Department of Management.
