CORE-collective: Computational Culture and Complexity Research

CORE is the computational humanities research environment at Aarhus University’s Faculty of Arts. It develops and applies cutting-edge computational approaches to the full diversity of Arts and Humanities research.

CORE collective is driven by cross-disciplinary, collaborative and people-centric values. Our computer-science and humanities experts are co-located in an environment that actively stimulates exchange and learning. It allows our researchers to tackle major present-day challenges in AI, social resilience, and heritage preservation. Our experience is that visionary cross-disciplinary collaboration thrives when placing people over product. Our staff development program meets people where they are, and supports them in where they want to take their research and career.
