My research focuses on democratic critique and democratic public spheres. I am particularly interested in the role that journalists, whistleblowers, and activists play in that process.
I teach in political sociology at both the BA and MA level. I offer PhD supervision within my fields of expertise.
From 1 February 2025 I am head of the Center for University Studies in Journalism.
