My PhD-project examines how constructions of gender and sexuality in the national curriculum for Health and Sexuality Education and Family Studies are translated into everyday teaching practices in Danish schools. Through ethnography, the project explores how educators experience participating in national training programs and how they tackle the insertion of the concepts and pedagogies from these programs into their own school and student context.
