Nathalie Brusgaard - New postdoc at the Department of Archaeology and Heritage Studies

Nathalie will be working on the project: "When keystone species converge: a transdisciplinary study of human-beaver interactions in Atlantic northwest Europe (6000-3000 BC)."

My name is Nathalie Brusgaard and as of May 1st, I’m a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Archaeology and Heritage Studies. I’m a (zoo)archaeologist, specialised in the prehistoric human-animal relationship. My project When keystone species converge: a transdisciplinary study of human-beaver interactions in Atlantic northwest Europe (6000-3000 BC) will explore the changing human-wildlife relationship during the transition to farming in Denmark and the Netherlands. I’ll be working together with Prof. Felix Riede and affiliated with ECONOVO. I’ll be joining AU from the University of Groningen (the Netherlands) where I was a postdoctoral researcher. I look forward to meeting you all!
