Tim Cresswell has worked extensively on the role of place and mobility in cultural life and has widely discussed the spatial turn in cultural studies. He has published central works such as The Tramp in America (2001), Place: A Short Introduction (2004) and Geographical Thought: A Critical Introduction (2012). Professor Cresswell is also editor of the journal “Cultural Geographies”.
