Bernhard Waldenfels is the most prominent recent phenomenologist in Germany. Over the last three decades and in more than 20 monographs he has developed a phenomenology of otherness centered on the concept of responsivity (Responsivität). He is visiting Aarhus University October 21-22. Apart from an open lecture on Tuesday, he will participate in two workshops devoted to his thinking.
