Forskningsinteresser omfatter mediehistorie, webhistoriografi, webarkæologi, webarkivering, websporing og spørgsmål relateret til privatliv og samtykke online. Nylige forskningsprojekter har fokuseret på sammenligninger mellem webarkiver og deres samlinger, undersøgelser af nationale webdomæners historiske udvikling og mixed-method studier af tracking på web.
